Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Operator

The Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Operator course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate various types of aerial lifts, such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. This training focuses on preventing accidents, ensuring equipment stability, and complying with international safety standards for work at height.

• Machine Categories: Understanding the differences between static and mobile vertical/boom platforms (e.g., 1a, 1b, 3a, 3b).

• Pre-Use Inspections: Learning how to perform daily safety checks to identify mechanical or hydraulic faults.

• Safe Maneuvering: Practical training on driving, positioning, and elevating the platform in various site conditions.

• Emergency Procedures: Mastering ground controls and emergency lowering systems in case of power failure.

• Fall Protection: Correct selection and use of harnesses and lanyards specifically for MEWP operations.
